I’m not sure if it was a reseller for Authorize.net or not, I’m just writing to say that as a gateway system for payment processing, nothing beats Authorize.net. It plugs in to most online platforms, I have had no problems with them, and they are very knowledgable if you have integration questions for your customized credit card processing gateway needs.

I too am not sure of it being a reseller but I had authorize.net as a gateway. I was not happy with my treatment and the hidden details that emerged. They charge 25$ if payment is not received by them the instant they want it and you get no notice of the bill in order for you to pay it. I had not set up my account yet and they tried charging me. It didn’t go through so they fined me an additional 25$. Then when I closed my account I was told by three different customer service people that all was in order and no more action was needed on my part, yet a bill for 25 cents came in after my cancellation. I was not made aware of it yet I received a threatening email that they would go to a collection agency,etc. and of course they added a fine of 25$ to the 25 cents. No matter what I did , no discussion of the issue changed their minds at all. So I had to pay the 25 cents plus 25$. You can have them,I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I started the signup process, and though I was waiting a few required items. I got an email saying that my account was approved but was locked, and I could put money into the account but not get money out of the account???

What crap. Guess when billing begins? Answer: as soon as they can tap into your account.

Of course I couldn’t get a refund because because they set up my new account in a locked state. I would have had to notify them that I wanted to receive a refund before I even knew my account was fully set up.

Avoid them at all costs. Pun intended.hat my account was approved but was locked, and I could put money into the account but not get money out of the account???

I am not a reseller, but this is for someone considering using Authorize.net as their gateway. Please think twice. Our business was unable to charge any cards due to some errors, nevertheless we got charged a bunch of fees, plus $25 fee. Our account was closed at that time. Horrible customer service.

We used Authorize.net for about six months and they were pretty good. Unfortunately, we used a reseller Volusion which killed us on monthly charges and made it to expensive for a website just starting off at the time. Resellers can put whatever price they want to without any recourse.
